The vessel, which arrived in Colombo on 10 June, was accorded a traditional naval farewell upon its departure.
During the visit, the Commanding Officer of INS Sharda held discussions with senior Sri Lanka Navy officials on matters of mutual interest, while both navies engaged in personnel exchanges aimed at enhancing cooperation and camaraderie.
Sailors from the two navies also participated in friendly sporting events and a joint yoga session, while Sri Lanka Navy personnel toured the visiting vessel. The crew of INS Sharda additionally visited several cultural and tourist attractions across the island.
