The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has issued a new commemorative Rs. 2000 currency note to mark its 75th anniversary.
The first note was officially presented to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake today by CBSL Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe at the Presidential Secretariat.
This note is the fifth commemorative currency note released by the CBSL and features the theme "Stability for Prosperity," which reflects the bank's commitment to strengthening economic stability for national development.
