The Samagi Jana Balawegaya staged a protest near Diyatha Uyana in Battaramulla today (10), causing minor traffic congestion.

Police closed roads at Polduwa Junction and along Parliament Road due to the demonstration.

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and several SJB MPs participated in the protest against the government’s actions.

A tense situation is currently reported to be developing in the area.
