The second draft of the strategic plan of the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance was presented to the representatives of Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) yesterday.
The representatives of the CCC met with the Presidential Candidate of the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance and leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party (MJP) entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera at the headquarters of MJP.
The meeting took place under the CCC’s series of programmes to educate the presidential candidates regarding its landmark policy document, ‘Vision 2030’, designed to steer Sri Lanka towards sustainable and inclusive development by 2030.
A copy of this comprehensive economic plan was also presented to presidential candidate Dilith Jayaweera during the meeting.
In a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), MJP leader Dilith Jayaweera stated that he briefed the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce on the Sarvajana Balaya strategic plan at the party headquarters yesterday morning.
The Ceylon Chamber team included its Chairperson Duminda Hulangamuwa, Board members Bingumal Thewarathanthri and Supun Weerasinghe, and Secretary General/CEO Buwanekabahu Perera.
“The chamber will be a key stakeholder in our vision to build an entrepreneurial state”, Jayaweera said in the post.
