A fire has broken out in a building opposite the Dam Street Police Station in Colombo.

The Colombo Fire Brigade noted that at least 10 fire trucks have been deployed to control the blaze.

No injuries or casualties have been reported so far.

Authorities stated that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
