SriLankan Airlines has temporarily suspended all flights to Nepal after the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu was forced to shut down.
The airport closure, prompted by escalating violence in the country, has grounded hundreds of passengers and led to the cancellation of numerous flights by multiple international carriers, including those from India, the UAE, Singapore, and Malaysia.
The airport will remain closed until authorities lift the official Notice to Airmen (NOTAM).
