The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has relaunched registration for the Tourist VAT Refund Scheme (TVRS), allowing VAT-registered retailers to offer refunds to foreign tourists. 

Eligible businesses can apply via the IRD web portal, submitting forms to the Large Taxpayer Refund Unit in Colombo.
