A Private Member's Bill has been presented in Parliament seeking to ban children under the age of 16 from accessing social media platforms.


The proposed Social Media Minimum Age Bill, tabled by New Democratic Front MP and President's Counsel Faiszer Musthapha, aims to establish a legal minimum age for social media use to enhance children's online safety and reduce exposure to harmful digital content.
