Shashi Weerawansa, wife of former Minister Wimal Weerawansa, has been released on bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court in connection with a forged passport case.

The bail order was issued pending the hearing of her appeal before the Supreme Court against a two-year prison sentence.
