Sri Lanka has seen over 2.2 million tourist arrivals since the beginning of the year, according to data published by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA). 

Sri Lanka had initially targeted 3 million tourist arrivals this year, however that target had been revised by the SLTDA.

According to data, as of Monday (15), Sri Lanka had seen the arrival of 2,208,000 tourists.
