The Sports Manager LK recently announced the successful completion of the Futures Tennis Summer Camp, held on 30 November and 1 December at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) courts. The two-day camp brought together young players from across the country for an inspiring tennis experience conducted by world-class coaches.
The programme was led by Tennis Coaches Australia President Wes Horskins; Jake Zerman from Futures Tennis Academy, Australia; and Sri Lanka’s own rising star Neyara Weerawansa. Their expertise, professionalism, and passion created an energetic and motivating environment for all participants, making the camp a memorable milestone for developing junior tennis in Sri Lanka.
The organisers have extended their appreciation to the SLTA for its support and for providing the venue and facilities necessary to host an event of this calibre. Their gratitude was also extended to Future Tennis Academy, Australia for its partnership and commitment towards uplifting young talent in Sri Lanka.
The camp delivered two days filled with learning, engagement, and inspiration, setting a new benchmark for junior tennis development initiatives in the country.
Following an overwhelmingly positive response from players, coaches, and parents, The Sports Manager LK announced that the next Futures Tennis Camp was planned for July 2026, which would offer young athletes even more opportunities to learn from international coaches.
