The final report of the committee investigating the deadly Ramboda bus accident has been submitted to the Minister of Public Security.

The tragedy occurred on 11 May when a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus travelling from Kataragama to Kurunegala plunged off a precipice near Gerandi Ella.

The crash claimed 23 lives and injured 60 others, prompting a detailed inquiry headed by Senior DIG Ajith Rohana.
