Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath is scheduled to undertake an official visit to Belarus from today (12) to 15 May at the invitation of Belarus Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov.

During the visit, Herath is expected to hold bilateral discussions and meet Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.

Several agreements and MoUs across multiple sectors are also expected to be signed during the visit.

The Foreign Minister is further scheduled to address a business and tourism roundtable in Minsk and meet Sri Lankan students studying in Belarus.
