The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka, Levan S. Dzhagaryan held a meeting with the Secretary to the President, Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (25).
The discussions centered on strengthening the bilateral relationship between Russia and Sri Lanka, with a focus on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Both parties exchanged views on issues affecting their countries and explored opportunities for collaboration in key sectors such as tourism, trade, and technology.
Also present at the meeting were German FEDOROV, Head of the Political Section of the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and Roshan Gamage, Senior Additional Secretary to the President.
The meeting underscores ongoing efforts to foster closer ties and deepen partnership between the two nations.
