The government has issued an Extraordinary Gazette introducing amendments to the colour-code labelling regulations for sugary drinks under the Food Act.

The revised regulations update the design of the red, amber and green sugar labels, introduce an alternative logo for glass bottles, and retain the sugar thresholds used for the colour-coded labelling system.
