The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) between the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency (Pvt) Ltd and Japan’s Enterprise United Corporative, under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
The agreement aims to increase job opportunities in Japan for Sri Lankan youth through a secure, formal process, while providing internationally recognised technical and professional training, including Japanese language and cultural education.
Training programmes will be conducted at the Sapugaskanda National Youth Service Training Center in collaboration with the National Youth Service Council to address the demand for skilled labour in Japan.
