Motorists travelling on the Southern Expressway (E01) have been informed of temporary lane closures between the Galanigama and Dodangoda interchanges starting tomorrow (18), owing to scheduled maintenance work.

The Transport, Highways & Urban Development Ministry announced that selected lanes along this section will be periodically closed to facilitate repair activities. 

The maintenance is expected to cause minor disruptions to traffic flow.

Travelers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allocate extra time to avoid delays. 

The Ministry also urged all motorists to follow traffic signs and heed the instructions of highway personnel to ensure safety during the maintenance period.
