The Meteorology Department has issued a warm weather advisory for residents of Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Eastern, North-Western, Northern, North-Central provinces, and Monaragala district.

The heat index is expected to reach the ‘Caution Level’ in some areas on 1 April.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and limit strenuous outdoor activities to avoid heat-related fatigue and cramps.
