Sri Lanka Police has temporarily suspended the issuance of Police Clearance Certificates due to a computer system breakdown at Police Headquarters.

The system has been inactive since 12.50 p.m. on 20 August. ICTA is working to restore the database.

The public has been requested not to submit applications until the system is operational again.
