MasterChef Australia star Savindri Perera had arrived in Sri Lanka on a visit after being eliminated in a nail-biting semi-final and coming third.

The talented star was pictured on SriLankan Airlines on her return to Sri Lanka from Australia where she is currently based. “MasterChef Australia third place winner shines on UL605 with SriLankan Airlines. Her culinary expertise brings pride to her homeland, showcasing her remarkable talent,” SriLankan Airlines said in a post on social media.

On the show, Savindri took the opportunity to try to showcase all that Sri Lankan cooking could be; however, she was plagued by time management issues.
