Two people have died in separate road accidents reported in Kadawatha and Wellampitiya, police stated.

A 49-year-old pedestrian succumbed to injuries after being struck by a bus entering the Kadawatha bus stand, while an SLTB bus driver died after reportedly suffering a heart attack and losing control of the bus, which crashed near Ambagaha Junction in Wellampitiya early today (24). Police are investigating both incidents.
