Madhura Senevirathna says universities may be closed if dengue cases are reported in clusters, based on the advice of health authorities.

He said the University of the Visual and Performing Arts, which was temporarily closed due to dengue cases, is expected to reopen on 13 July.

The Deputy Minister added that guidelines have been issued to all universities to help prevent the spread of dengue.
