Sri Lankan badminton player Viren Nettasinghe has qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games.

According to the Ministry of Sports, 20-year-old Nettasinghe is one of the youngest players in the world to secure direct qualification for the tournament.

The 2024 Olympic Games will take place in Paris, France from 26 July to 11 August.
