The National Health Research Symposium 2023 organised by the Ministry of Health will commence today (13), it is learnt.
The symposium, which is being organised for the third time, has become a key calendar event where researchers, policymakers, and healthcare professionals gather to share and discuss the latest developments in the health field.
This biannual event will be held at Water’s Edge, Battaramulla today (13) and tomorrow (14) with the participation of the Minister of Health Dr. Ramesh Pathirana. This symposium is a testament to Sri Lanka’s commitment to advancing healthcare through research and innovation.The keynote speech will be delivered by Prof. Amrik S. Sohal (Australia).
The sharing of knowledge and experience will be used to create a research culture for the betterment of effective healthcare delivery for the public. T
he 2023 iteration of the symposium was organised under the guidance of Additional Secretary (Medical Services) Dr. Sunil De Alwis and Deputy Director General of The Education, Training, and Research Unit Dr. Samiddhi Samarakoon.
