• Uva, Police & Air Force shine in Provincial Titles

The provincial and club rugby finals delivered drama across all divisions. The UVA Tigers claimed the Women’s Shield, while Police SC beat Army 14-5 in the Men’s Shield. The UVA Knights crushed Southern Sharks 37-0 to lift the Women’s Bowl, and Air Force SC ran away 34-12 against Navy in the Men’s Bowl.

In the Plate final, CH swept Havelocks 34-0, while the Western Warriors edged Central Gladiators 12-5 in the provincial Women’s decider. The clubs’ Women’s championship saw Navy outlast Air Force 17-14 in a thriller.

The Men’s club clash was the highlight, with CR battling UDDS from Dubai. UDDS struck early and led 10-7 at halftime before extending their advantage with clinical finishing. Despite a late converted try from CR, the final whistle confirmed UDDS 34-14, securing the first leg in commanding style.
