The Court of Appeal has postponed further hearing of a writ petition filed by former State Intelligence Service chief Suresh Sallay until 10 July.
The petition seeks to invalidate a detention order issued against Sallay under the Prevention of Terrorism Act.
The matter was taken up before a bench headed by Court of Appeal President Justice Rohantha Abeysuriya, following submissions made by Sallay’s legal counsel regarding intelligence reports and investigations linked to the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.
