Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara emphasised the Government's commitment to peacebuilding and social cohesion. 

Speaking in a parliamentary session today (4), he claimed that past efforts were superficial, focused on meeting external expectations rather than fostering real unity. 

He also added that under the current administration, promoting diversity and respecting ethnic and cultural identities will be central to policy, aiming for a more inclusive society.
