Gold prices in Sri Lanka have decreased following a fall in the global market.

The price of a 24-carat gold sovereign dropped from Rs. 391,000 to Rs. 382,000 today (19).

A 22-carat sovereign fell from Rs. 359,700 to Rs. 351,500.

The global price of an ounce of gold was recorded at $4,138 today.
