Prime Minister (PM) Harini Amarasuriya departed for Canada this morning (24) to attend the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) Board of Governors meeting in Vancouver.

Amarasuriya, who also serves as the Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, will represent the South Asian region at the summit.

The conference will address key areas, including women and children's education, digital technology in learning, teacher training, innovation, research, and gender equality.
