The Consumer Affairs Authority(CAA) stated that it conducted 1,540 consumer awareness programmes across Sri Lanka in 2025.

More than 120,000 people were reached through these programmes in all districts.

The CAA noted that awareness is also promoted through electronic, digital and print media, and that more programmes are planned for 2026.
