All crew members of the Cinnamon Air seaplane that plunged into Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya this afternoon ()7) are safe, Saffron Aviation Pvt Ltd stated.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. while the aircraft was preparing to land to transport tourists. 

No injuries or casualties were reported.

Cinnamon Air is cooperating with the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka, which is conducting an on-site assessment.
