The President’s Fund has awarded one-off Rs. 100,000 scholarships to students with disabilities studying at state universities under the ‘Sarasavi Diriyo Abhiman’ programme.

Fifty students from Eastern University and South Eastern University received scholarships at the final programme held in the Eastern Province.

Nearly 400 students have been recognised under the programme this year.
