Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, currently on a personal visit to South Korea, met with Joo Ho-young, Deputy Speaker of the Korean National Assembly, for a cordial discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations.
The MP’s trip was made at the invitation of Ven. Yeong-Dam Lim, a respected Buddhist monk and long-time friend of Sri Lanka.
During his visit, Rajapaksa also called on the Seokwangsa Temple in Bucheon to receive blessings from Ven.
Yeong-Dam Lim, highlighting the deep-seated religious and cultural ties between the two nations.
