Police have seized more than 300 illegally imported smartphones, including the latest iPhone models, with an estimated value of about Rs 50 million, during a raid conducted by the Walana Anti-Vice Squad at a shop in Liberty Plaza, Kollupitiya. A suspect was arrested in connection with the seizure.

The stock of smartphones, which had been illegally imported into the country, was discovered in a basement storage facility of a shop located at Liberty Plaza.
