Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has released the official fixture schedule for the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2026, confirming the tournament will run from 17 July to 8 August, with a reserve day on 9 August.

The season will open on 17 July at the Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) Grounds with an opening ceremony followed by the curtain-raiser clash between Jaffna and Galle. 

Matches will be played across SSC, Dambulla, and Kandy before the playoffs move to the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS) in Colombo.

The group stage features 20 matches, with double-headers scheduled on weekends and select weekdays. 

The playoff stage begins on 5 August with Qualifier 1 (between the top two teams) and the Eliminator (third vs. fourth). Qualifier 2 is set for 7 August, followed by the grand finals at RPICS 24 hours later.
