The Western Province South Crime Division has arrested the alleged motorcyclist involved in the shooting at the Nisala Sevana Public Cemetery in Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia.

Police stated that investigations have revealed the shooting was allegedly orchestrated by an organised criminal figure currently residing overseas.

The 25-year-old suspect was arrested in Delkanda and was found in possession of 7.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine, Rs. 55,000 believed to be part of a payment for the shooting, and three mobile phones, police said.
