Sri Lanka welcomed 93,486 tourists in June, with India contributing the largest share at 27,504 arrivals (29.4%), as per the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA). 

Other key contributors include the UK (7,716), China (6,097), Bangladesh (5,035), and Australia (4,594). 

Cumulatively, tourist arrivals in 2025 have risen to 1,123,289, with India (231,564), Russia (111,940), and the UK (103,990) being the top sources.
