This initiative aims to enable the film and teledrama industries to embrace modern advancements for future progress.

Furthermore, President Wickremesinghe highlighted the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology into the global film industry. He affirmed the government's commitment to supporting the production of Sri Lanka's first AI film, signaling a step towards innovation in the country's film sector.
