Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) Ajith Rohana is set to retire from the Sri Lanka Police Service after 38 years of service.

A farewell guard of honour was held today (08) at the Welegedara Stadium in Kurunegala to mark his retirement.

Ajith Rohana will formally retire from the Police Department on 11 September 2026.

He previously served as Police Media Spokesperson and as SDIG in charge of the Southern, North Western and Eastern provinces.
