Anudi Gunasekara, Sri Lanka’s representative at Miss World 2025, concluded her journey without making it into the Top 40, as announced at the finale held at the HITEX Convention Centre in Hyderabad, India, on 31 May.

Despite not advancing, Gunasekara made a lasting impression, securing First Runner-Up in the global Multimedia Challenge — the best performance by a Sri Lankan in that category.

She was also impressed in the Talent Showcase and Head-to-Head Challenge, showcasing her versatility and dedication throughout the competition.

A noted social activist, Gunasekara used the Miss World platform to spotlight sustainable development and youth empowerment in Sri Lanka.

Her achievements have been praised widely, with many regarding her participation as one of the most impactful representations by a Sri Lankan delegate in recent history.
