The Sri Lankan rupee depreciated further against the US dollar today (05), according to the latest exchange rates issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

The US dollar buying rate was recorded at Rs. 332.27, while the selling rate stood at Rs. 342.00.

On yesterday (04), the buying rate was Rs. 330.10 and the selling rate was Rs. 340.50.

Several commercial banks also quoted the US dollar selling rate at around Rs. 342.00 today.
