The Department of Meteorology has issued a warm weather advisory for the Eastern Province and the districts of Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya and Monaragala tomorrow(18).

The department said the heat index is expected to reach the 'Caution' level, warning that prolonged exposure to the sun could cause fatigue and heat cramps.

The public has been advised to stay hydrated and limit strenuous outdoor activities during the daytime.
