Dialog Axiata PLC completed the amalgamation with Bharti Airtel Lanka (Private) Limited under the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, with Dialog remaining as the surviving entity.
This marks the official cessation of Airtel Lanka as a corporate entity, effective 30 August, with its operational performance fully subsumed and consolidated within Dialog’s financial statements.
The collaboration between these two organisations brings together their collective expertise, resources, and innovative capabilities, positioning Dialog to lead the way in Sri Lanka’s digital transformation.
Following the merger, Dialog’s subscriber base has surpassed 20 million.
As the network integration progresses over the coming months, customers can anticipate enhanced services that go beyond connectivity, delivering significant advancements in customer experience, innovation, and digital services.
The continuation of the Airtel brand within this new structure ensures that customers will continue to enjoy the value and trust associated with Airtel, while also gaining access to the extensive offerings of Dialog.
