The Milk Powder Importers’ Association has announced a price increase for imported powdered milk in Sri Lanka.

The price of a 400g packet has been increased by Rs. 50, while a 1kg packet has gone up by Rs. 125.

The revised prices apply to stocks packed from today (20) onwards, the association said.

Importers cited market conditions and foreign exchange rate changes as reasons for the revision.
