Police have arrested a suspect in the Kottawa for possessing an illegally assembled jeep.

The arrest was made by the Western Province South District Crime Investigation Division during a raid.

Police say the suspect is accused of importing spare parts illegally and assembling the vehicle.

He is also accused of operating it without revenue licence, insurance, emission test, and with forged documents. Further investigations are continuing.
