Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake and another woman were indicted before the Colombo High Court today (10) in connection with the discovery of a gold-plated firearm.

The indictments were formally served on the two accused when the case was taken up before the Colombo High Court.

Following the filing of the indictments, the High Court Judge ordered the release of both accused on bail.

Further proceedings will continue before the Colombo High Court.
