Over 100,000 Sri Lankan migrant workers will leave for overseas jobs in 2025, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) reported.
Of the 100,413 departures, 64,150 were self-registered and 36,263 via agencies.
Top destinations include Kuwait (25,672), UAE (18,474), Qatar (14,162), and Saudi Arabia (12,625).
The SLBFE aims to send 340,000 workers abroad this year.
