President Anura Kumara Dissanayake chaired a meeting at the Nuwara Eliya District Secretariat today (08) to review road damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah and outline urgent repair measures.
Officials discussed the extent of destruction, timelines for restoration, and roads requiring specialized reconstruction.

He instructed authorities to release funds immediately for repairing damaged roads, culverts, and retaining walls, and to complete all restoration work before the end of the year.
