Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) stated that Sri Lanka welcomed 93,915 tourists in the first 15 days of April.

India led the chart with 18,220 visitors, followed by the UK, Russia, Germany, and Australia.

Accordingly, total tourist arrivals for 2025 have now reached 816,191, with India contributing the largest share of 136,535.

March alone saw 229,298 arrivals, marking a 9.62% increase compared to March 2024.

Tourism continues to show steady growth as Sri Lanka draws more international interest.
