A Rs. 7.5 billion supplementary estimate to fund paddy procurement during the 2026 Yala season is scheduled to be presented to Parliament today (21).

The debate is scheduled from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

The funds are to be reallocated from unutilised allocations made to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation for 2026.
